Frost

Still one of my favorites. "Frost", an Independence resin, sculpted by Sarah Rose and painted by me in 2006. The color was inspired by a friend's Arabian gelding. He was in his winter coat when I took the reference photos, and when the model was finished by some stroke of luck the beach was covered in a thin layer of frost and matched the finishwork perfectly.

Can't believe this was more than eight years ago.

Sheri Rhodes from Mountain View Studios could not resist the charms of plump & cuddly Fred and Ginger, and painted one of the first sets herself. MVS is doing a fantastic job on the castings, too.

Hurray! Silver Drift, owned by Carol Johnson and painted by me in 2011, is champion of her class at the North American Nationals 2014.

The little Working Girl resin also got a Top Ten in Workmanship.
