It's no secret, I'm crazy about Iberian horses. And I just love sculpting them. :)

Just completed; the final Artist's Proof Fausto, number 5 in the series. Not for sale, he has already found a happy new owner. 

If you subscribed to receive my blog posts by email, you should get this post twice. Kathleen's JV herd

Fuerte, Fausto and Faran, Kathleen Fiford from New Zealand has collected and painted all of my curio scale Spanish guys. The bay Fuerte is done as a portrait of Ali Baba, a dressage competition Lusitano stallion in NZ owned by Jody Heartstone. The palomino, Torso's Gold, took a reserve champion title at his last show.

She doesn't have a website yet, but if you are interested in having Kathleen paint one of your horses you can look her up on Facebook and get in touch.

Clinky chestnut Fausto

 

Ordered by a family member. He stayed here for a couple of days and looked very pretty in our curio cabinet, hard to say goodbye. :)
Oh well, there's more to come. Thinking about ordering a clinky Fausto of your own? There are 10 fine bone china Faustos left. This one is a standard color, satin finish.
